Story concept - "Mixers"

Story idea – Mixers

I just had a flash of a concept. In canon Ranmaverse the valley of Jusenkyo flooded after the battle with Saffron. It was said that the waters from all of the springs was mixed. An odd chain of reasoning went on in my mind at that thought. What if someone like a wizard or sorcerer were to collect some of that water and work to concentrate the diluted magic.
I was thinking what it would be like to get some curse magic like that. Then the thought was that the person got splashed with such curse water. I was thinking that with will power control you would end up with someone who had shape shifting powers like Beast Boy. The limit would be only changing into creatures that drowned in Jusenkyo springs. It would also include all hybrid forms like half human and half some animal.
I was thinking that maybe one of the NWC characters could get the combined curse. My first thought was Ryoga. I could see him accidentally teleporting into the sorcerer’s lair. The guy would then decide to test it on the Lost Boy. I’m not sure where I would like to take that from there.
